Rozex (Metronidazole) comes in the form of a cream or gel, which is applied directly to the skin, usually twice per day, once in the morning and again in the evening, or as directed by your physician. Before you apply it to the face, you should wash the affected area 15 minutes before applying the gel. Ensure that the skin is dry, and apply a thin layer of cream or gel. Gently rub it in, taking care not to get any in the eyes. You should note that it can take up to 3 weeks before you notice an improvement, and 9 weeks for the full benefit to be noticed.
