How does Clopixol Acuphase Injection (Zuclopenthixol Acetate BP) work: Clopixol Acuphase Injection (Zuclopenthixol Acetate BP) is used for treating psychotic illnesses such as acute psychosis, as well mania and severe psychosis. It is able to effectively regulate a person`s behaviour and mood by blocking dopamine receptors found in the brain. Clopixol Acuphase Injection can also improve symptoms such as hallucination, disturbed thoughts, and major aggression. Dosage & Administration: Clopixol is not suitable for children, or patients with Parkinson`s disease. Use Clopixol Acuphase Injection as administered by a healthcare professional or physician. Thr typical dosage for adult patients is between 50mg and 150mg, 1-3 ml. The drug is administered by an intra-muscular injection (IM). The injection is normally repeated every 2 or 3 days depending on the patient and their condition. For maintenance therapy the injection is given approximately every 2 weeks at a dose from 200mg to 400mg. Side Effects:
