What is Ranbaxy-Cefaclor (Cefaclor) used for?

Ranbaxy-Cefaclor (Cefaclor) is a type of cephalosporin antibiotic, which treats bacterial infections by fighting the bacteria in the body. Infections it treats includes pneumonia, ear infections, infections of the throat, urinary tract, lungs, skin, as well as many other types. It will not treat viral infections, such as colds or flu.

How should I use Ranbaxy-Cefaclor (Cefaclor)?

Ranbaxy-Cefaclor (Cefaclor) capsules are taken orally, usually 3 times per day, every eight hours. However, other patients may be told to take it twice per day, every 12 hours. Follow the instructions provided to you by your physician, and only take the amount prescribed to you by your physician. Remember to continue taking it for the entire period for which it was prescribed.
