Combigan (Brimonidine Tartrate/Timolol) is given to patients suffering from eye conditions such as glaucoma and ocular hypertension, to treat high pressure caused by these conditions. By treating pressure in the eye, it can help to prevent the occurrence of blindness.

This medication contains two active ingredients, brimonidine tartrate and timolol. Brimonidine is a type of alpha agonist, which works by helping fluid drainage within the eye. Timolol is in a class of drugs known as beta blockers, which helps to decrease the amount of fluid formed in the eye.
