What is Farobact (Faropenem) used for?

Farobact (Faropenem) is a type of beta-lactam antibiotic which is used to treat bacterial sinusitis, pneumonia, bronchitis and skin infections. Other infections such as adnexitis, acne, nail inflammation and lymphangitis may also be treated. It works by fighting the bacteria that cause the infection. However it will not treat viral infections.

How should I use Farobact (Faropenem)?

Farobact (Faropenem) tablets are sometimes taken 3 times per day. However, patients should consult their physician so that the correct dosage required to treat their condition can be prescribed. The length of time for which treatment is required varies, and will be decided by your physician.
