What is Frusenex-100 (Frusemide) used for?

Frusenex-100 (Frusemide) is a type of loop diuretic, also known as a water pill which prevents the body from absorbing excessive quantities of salt. It can help to lessen inflammation and reduce fluid retention occurring as a result of heart or liver disease and certain kidney disorders. It may also be used to treat hypertension. This medication is effective in treating these symptoms, as it causes the body to allow excess salt to be passed in the urine.

How should I use Frusenex-100 (Frusemide)?

If you are using Frusenex-100 (Frusemide) to treat any of the above mentioned conditions, you should carefully follow all the instructions of the prescribing physician. You may be directed to take one tablet per day, in the morning, or one tablet twice per day, in the morning and afternoon. Although this drug is capable of controlling high blood pressure, it will not cure it. Therefore patients should continue to take this drug, even if they feel better.
