What is Mobicam-DT (Piroxicam IP) used for?

Mobicam-DT (Piroxicam IP) is a type of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) drug that is used to treat inflammation, stiffness, and pain caused by osteoarthritis. It is also effective in treating rheumatoid arthritis. This drug works by stopping the body from producing a certain substance that causes the symptoms of arthritis such as pain and swelling to occur.

How should I use Mobicam-DT (Piroxicam IP)?

Mobicam-DT (Piroxicam IP) tablets should be taken orally, with a full glass of water. Adults are sometimes directed to take this drug once daily. Patients who are taking this drug on an "as required" basis, and not as part of a regular treatment schedule should take this medication at the first occurrence of pain, in order for it to be most effective.
