What is Otek-AC Ear Drops used for?

Otek-AC Ear Drops are used to relieve infection and reduce inflammation in patients suffering from acute ear infection, a condition also known as ottis media. It combines a number of active ingredients into one medication. The active ingredient chloramphenicol is an antibiotic which kills bacteria, and clotrimazole is an antifungal medication. Beclometasone dipropionate is a type of corticosteroid, which reduces inflammation and lignocaine is a local anesthetic which relieves pain.

How should I use Otek-AC Ear Drops?

Otek-AC Ear Drops should be applied directly to the ears, as directed by your physician. In order to apply these ear drops, you should lie down with your ear facing upwards, and apply the prescribed amount of ear drops. Stay in the same position for 1 to 2 minutes after applying the ear drops. This will prevent the medication from dripping out. Only apply the amount prescribed by your physician, and never exceed the prescribed dosage.

Otek-AC Ear Drops may cause:
