What is Sandrena Gel (Estradiolo / Estradiol) used for?

Sandrena Gel (Estradiolo / Estradiol) is applied directly to skin that is clean and dry. Apply it to the upper thigh once daily, or as directed by your physician. Patients are normally advised to switch between the right and left thigh each time the gel is applied. You should not apply this gel to the face, breast or the area around the vagina. Allow a few minutes for the gel to dry before you put on your clothes. The application site should be covered with shorts or pants. This will help to prevent other people from coming into contact with the gel. It is essential to wash your hands after you apply the gel, and should anybody accidentally touch the gel, you should also tell them to wash their hands.
